Lackingenieur/Chemieingenieur, 360° R&D Project Management

A fantastic new opportunity for a recently graduated Lackingenieur or Chemieingenieur who is looking for their first step into industrial R&D. What's really exciting is that the company are offering the chance to manage R&D projects from start to finish which will include customer co-operation, formulations development, applications testing, pilot-plant scale up and introduction of the product to customers working with the sales team - so it's an unrivalled opportunity to gain a broad range of technical knowledge.

The company you will be working with specialise in developing coatings systems for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive suppliers with a focus on interior plastic components. They have developed a highly-innovative coating system which is creating significant demand for their technologies in the market over the last couple of years, so it's an exciting time at the business with a lot of potential for company growth over the next couple of years.

Role Responsibilites:

• Formulations development in the laboratory (50-60%)
• Managing new research projects
• Conducting applications testing in the laboratory and on-site (10-20%)
• Working with the production team on pilot-plant scale up and introduction of products to full-scale production

Requirements:

• Qualification as Lackingenieur or Chemieingenieur
• Confidence in formulations development of coatings systems
• German speaking, writing and listening at minimum B2 level required for daily use
