Colorimetry Specialist, Independent Work Culture, Frankfurt

This is an exciting opportunity to step into the role of Colorimetry Specialist for an experienced colour matcher looking to take the next step in their career. You will be working as part of an R&D Department which includes 12 full-time developers and a highly experienced laboratory manager with experts in a lot of different technical fields who pool their knowledge, allowing them to continually learn from each other and develop their expertise in tinting, development and formulations work, so it's a great environment to take broaden and round-out your technicla expertise in the field of paints & surface coatings.

Your role is to be the main point of contact for all technical color queries in the company, which will involve working closely with internal partners from R&D and Production whilst also having a high level of external contact with customers on a daily basis, so you will get the chance to develop a large of connections in the Paints & Coatings Industry allowing you to develop your network.

The company you will be working for specialise in the development and manufacture of Decorative Coating Systems for consumer and industrial applications. They develop ecologically friendly waterborne paints which have a minimal impact on humans and the environment, so can supply their paints to a much wider customer base with a much wider variety of applications, which actually allows them to generate more revenue.

Requirements:

• Qualification as Chemielaborant or Lacklaborant
• 2+ years experience in colour-matching
• Good knowledge of Colibri or DATA-Colour software systems
• Languages: German at B2-C2 level required for daily use; comfort in English speaking preferred.
