Professional Teaching Fellow

The Graduate School of Management at the University of Auckland invites applications for a Professional Teaching Fellow position to strengthen its teaching activities and curriculum in accounting and finance.

The opportunity

• You will contribute to the design and delivery of our teaching and assessment
• You’ll also play a critical role in the development of our taught postgraduate programmes, attracting a diverse cohort of international and domestic students.
• Throughout all that you do, you will promote and enhance the international standing of the University of Auckland’s Master of Professional Accounting programme.

Who are we looking for?

• A postgraduate qualification in accounting is essential, as is a professional qualification in accounting.
• You will have teaching experience at tertiary level in accounting, including design and delivery of interactive and experiential learning.
• You will be familiar with the role of technologies in supporting learning and teaching.
• You will also have practitioner experience in a professional accounting role.

The cornerstone programme is the Master of Management; a 15 month programme that allows students to specialise in business, accounting, international business or marketing. Students also have the option of extending their study for a further 3 months (18 months in total) and completing a Master of Professional Accounting, a Master of International Business, or a Master of Marketing.
