We are seeking a post-doctoral research fellow to work on the experimental investigation of widely tunable parametric oscillation in optical microresonators. The project has both experimental and theoretical components and may extend to the study of frequency comb generation in microresonators.

The candidate should have a PhD degree in experimental Physics, Engineering or in a related discipline (or be close to obtaining one) and have suitable skills in the area of laser physics and nonlinear optics. In addition, experience in one or several of the following domains will be a definite plus. First, a good knowledge and hands-on experience of nonlinear optics experiments in optical microresonators.
