Particular needs of the School for research and teaching activities are in the areas of Management sciences, Innovation and entrepreneurship. Core research is planned around broad aspects of management sciences in a global dimension. Challenging teaching is allocated at Executive MBA programme –EPAS accredited by European Foundation for Management Development.

Associate professor job vacancy is placed at Warsaw University of Technology Business School which will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. Its Founders are HEC Paris, London Business School, Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen and Warsaw University of Technology.

Candidates for above positions should have an academic degree (professor, PhD with habilitation) and significant research and teaching achievements. The successful candidate is expected in particular to have:

1 significant experience in cooperation with leading international research/teaching centers 2. experience in cooperation with Polish and foreign business
3. teaching abilities necessary for conducting classes in MBA programs
4. proficiency in English
5. experience in designing and coordinating educational programs
6. experience in teaching using distance-learning technologies would be an additional advantage.

Work in the institution oriented internationally

Interested persons are requested to submit the following documents to the Secretariat of WUT Business School (Koszykowa Street 79, 02-008 Warsaw, 1 floor, room 119):


A letter of application addressed to the Director of WUTBS containing declaration of willingness to participate in the contest for the position, along with

  • A cover letter;
  • A CV;
  • A personal data form;
  • Copies of doctoral or postdoctoral diplomas, or a copy of the title conferment act;
  • Other documents certifying qualifications held;
  • A written declaration that Warsaw University of Technology shall be the primary place of employment pursuant to the Law on Higher Education;
  • A summary of research, teaching and organizational accomplishments (with emphasis on the past five years or the period starting from the conferment of the academic degree of Assistant professor (doktor habilitowany), including:
  • A few pages long, concise summary of the candidate's research and teaching interests, his/her major professional accomplishments (bibliometric indices recommended) and plans for Future research activities;
  • A list of publications with complete bibliographic data (split into books, monographs as well as papers published in scientific journals listed in parts A or C (JRC; ERIH) or part B of the List provided by the minister competent for science and higher education, papers published in other journals, papers published in conference proceedings available in the WoS database and in other conference proceedings, patents and major research reports. Applicants are requested to submit copies of some (e.g. three) of their most important publications;
  • A list of research projects supervised by the candidate, specifying the sources of funding, the subject area, the number of participants and the funding scheme (e.g. research projects supported by the National Science Centre (NCN) or by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR), research projects conducted by the University within EU programmes or research projects commissioned by business organizations);
  • A list of students promoted to a doctoral degree with the dates of awarding the degree, and a list of currently supervised doctoral students along with the dates of opening the conferment procedure for a doctoral degree;
  • A list of doctoral conferment procedures in which the candidate served as an auxiliary supervisor and a list of functions of a research supervisor of doctoral students
  • A list of reviews of doctoral and postdoctoral (habilitacja) dissertations, with names of doctoral or postdoctoral students and institutions that requested the reviews;
  • A list of current and past membership and functions held in domestic and international learned societies and committees; a list of past and currently held positions in institutions of higher education and other organisations, with emphasis on functions performed by election.
