Qualifications

Education:

- Advanced healthcare/science doctoral degree (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD)

Required:

- 2+ years of experience in a field-based medical affairs role working with regional and/or national payers or integrated delivery systems or scientific leaders and/or 5+ years of experience as a decision maker in the payer or integrated delivery system space.
- Thorough knowledge of clinical medicine, US health care delivery system structure and function, pharmacoeconomics, population health management, quality management, value-based payment and health care delivery policy and trends.
- Strong track record of effective cross-functional team collaboration and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to network, strong personal integrity, collaborative mindset, and a strong customer focus are necessary.
- Must possess a thorough understanding of the FDA, OIG, HIPAA and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
- Must be able to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment, and have demonstrated project leadership abilities.

Preferred:

- Formal training in health economics and outcomes research – real-world evidence generation.
- Experience in a field-based medical affairs role working with regional and/or national payers or integrated delivery systems and associated account management functions
