Commercial Product Manager - Medical Diagnostics - Heidelberg

Looking for a large multi-billion dollar medical diagnostics corporation? Want to join a globally expanding product management department in the company's HQ in South West of Germany? Look no further!

International global provider of cancer diagnostics that develops and supplies hospitals, clinics and laboratories, is looking for experienced Commercial Product Manager to manage international projects, product launches and commercial development. NonStop's client is searching for a person with excellent medical device background and who is truly enthusiastic about product management. If you enjoy launching new products, leading through the product life cycle and want to be involved in the business strategy, this is the role for you.

The Commercial Product Manager:

  • Owns the strategic roadmap for responsible product portfolio
  • Performs quantitative market opportunity assessments (i.e. market sizing, driver assessment, growth rate estimations) and customer segmentation analyses
  • Conducts primary market research for multiple purposes (e.g. to measure customer satisfaction, identify purchasing criteria, define product messaging)
  • Develops ideas for innovative product concepts together with a team of Technical Product Managers and Innovation Managers
  • Owns the creation of business cases for purpose of decision making in the context of new product development projects and product life cycle management
  • Owns the definition of global product launch strategies
  • Actively supports the global downstream marketing teams by

Experience needed:

  • Studies in Business/Marketing or Natural Sciences (graduate degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product management and preferably also in sales
  • Successful track record in technology or science driven business settings with a preference for medical devices and pharmaceuticals
  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in working with multinational teams within a matrix organization

In this role you will develop within an international corporation, will interact with global sales, marketing and R&D professionals. What is more, the company is expanding; therefore the next step will be not only to lead projects but also more junior colleagues in the department.

This role is based in the company's manufacturing center in the Heidelberg area. It will give you a chance to develop your career, boost product portfolio and grow within the global corporation in an international environment.
