The Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) calls for expression of interest for the position at the Assistant Professor Level (Investigator C’) in the field of «Molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis» for the needs of Systems Biology Center.
 

Requirements for this position include:

  • University Degree (BSc) in Biology or Biochemistry or Medicine from a National or officially recognized foreign institution.
  • PhD degree in Biological or Medical Sciences.
  • A minimum of five (5) years research experience as postdoctoral scientist in the field of molecular carcinogenesis with extensive experience in the use of advanced molecular technologies.
  • Strong publication record in international scientific journals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop independent research projects and to manage a research team
  • Demonstrated ability to attract external research funding (as a principal investigator or co-investigator).
