Assistant - Department of Medical Emergency in Faculty of Health Sciences

The competition can be entered by the person who meets the requirements as provided for in article 109 of the 27th of July 2005 – the Higher Education Act (Journal of Laws from 2016, item 1842, as amended) as well as the following qualification criteria:

 

• Finished 1st degree of studies majoring in nursing, as well as holding the degree of a master majoring in management – specialization: management in safety units;
• High doctoral dissertation grade or an exceptional master’s thesis verified by the thesis advisor’s opinion;
• Hold specialization in the field of emergency nursing;
• Qualification course in the field of anesthetic nursing and intensive care;
• Finished specialist courses: ASL, ACLS, APLS, BLS,
• Internship in an international emergency unit;
• Experience in working in Anesthesiology Unit, and an Intensive Care Unit or Accidents and Emergencies, possibly in Helicopter Emergency Medical Service;
• Good command of a foreign language;
• A positive opinion by the Head of the department of the aforementioned unit, as well as thesis advisor’s opinion (if in possession) on candidate’s qualifications and abilities in the fields of research and didactic work and in the case of a candidate not holding the degree of a doctor, information about prospects of completing the doctorate.

 

Candidates taking part in the competition should submit the following documents to the Human Resource Centre UJ CM, Cracow, Św Anny 12, room 42:

• Application,
• Resume,
• Personal questionnaire;
• Certified copy of the doctoral diploma, and/or certified copy of the higher education diploma, including a supplement or a grade point average certificate;
• Copy of the specialization diploma;
• Document verifying PRR instructor qualifications;
• Summary of professional accomplishments which includes the most important areas of research and academic accomplishments of the candidate,
• List of publications (including the publishing house and page number),
• Information about conducted didactic classes,
• Document verifying command of a foreign language;
• Scientific activity questionnaire,
• Didactic activities questionnaire, if candidate’s didactic evaluation was carried out and is available for the candidate, including students’ questionnaires;
• Opinion by Head of the department of the aforementioned unit,
• Candidate's declaration that the UJ CM will be the primary place of work if he/she wins the contest;
• Declaration under art. 109 (1) of the Higher Education Act,
• Declaration of consent to be included in the minimum staff for the purpose of determining entitlement to confer a doctoral and habilitation degree and/ or for the purpose of establishing and conducting a major in cases of candidates holding the degree of a doctor and upon winning a competition
• Declaration of knowledge and acceptance of the rules relating to intellectual property and the legal protection of intellectual rights
