Assistant - Faculty of Pharmacy

The competition can be entered by the person who meets the requirements as provided for in article 109 of the 27th of July 2005 – the Higher Education Act (Journal of Laws from 2016, item 1842, as amended) as well as the following qualification criteria:

 

• Hold the academic degree of a doctor of pharmaceutical sciences or in special circumstances the professional degree of a master;
• High doctoral dissertation grade verified by the thesis advisor (this concerns candidates with the doctor degree) or high master thesis grade (this concerns candidates with the master degree);
• Academic achievements in the field of organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry, and especially in designing and synthesis of new potentially biologically-active compounds;
• Ability to conduct research and compile results, especially while analyzing NMR, IR, MS and UV/VIS spectra;
• Experience in conducting didactic classes;
• Good command of English;
• Ability to work in a team;
• A positive opinion by the Head of the Chair of the aforementioned unit, thesis advisor’s opinion (if in possession and with a degree of a doctor) on the candidate’s qualifications and abilities to work as an academic, and in the case of a candidate not holding the degree of a doctor, information about the prospects of obtaining the degree of a doctor.

 

Candidates taking part in the competition should submit the following documents to the Human Resource Centre UJ CM, Cracow, Św Anny 12, room 40:

• Application,
• Resume,
• Personal questionnaire,
• Certified copy of the doctoral diploma, and the review of the doctoral dissertation (for candidates with a doctor degree),
• Certified copy of the higher education diploma including a supplement or a grade point average certificate;
• List of publications (including the publishing house and page number),
• Information about potentially conducted didactic classes,
• Scientific activity questionnaire,
• Didactic activities questionnaire, if candidate’s didactic evaluation was carried out and is available for the candidate, including students’ questionnaires.
• Documented academic achievements in the field of organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry, and especially in designing and synthesis of new potentially biologically-active compounds;
• Documented ability to conduct research and compile results, especially while analyzing NMR, IR, MS and UV/VIS spectra;
• Verified experience conducting didactic classes;
• Documented command of English;
• Opinion by the Head of the Chair of the aforementioned unit, and thesis advisor’s opinion (for candidates with a degree of a doctor);
• Candidate's declaration that the UJ CM will be the primary place of work if he/she wins the contest
• Declaration under art. 109 (1) of the Higher Education Act,
• Declaration of consent to be included in the minimum staff for the purpose of determining entitlement to confer a doctoral and habilitation degree and/ or for the purpose of establishing and conducting a major in cases of candidates holding the degree of a doctor and upon winning a competition
• Declaration of knowledge and acceptance of the rules relating to intellectual property and the legal protection of intellectual rights
