The Faculty of Arts seeks a positive and efficient Group Services Administrator with a focus on stakeholder service and continuous improvement to join our Group Services team. You will provide general administrative support for academic staff as assigned by the Group Services Manager and Team Leader, to support teaching activities and assist with academic processes.

You will undertake a range of activities primarily focused around course administration, including assessment and examination administration for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. These are core activities with processes driven by the University’s teaching schedule and deadlines. The role also involves a range of general administration and support responsibilities, including answering staff and student queries, supporting seminars and events, managing kitchen supplies and handling courier, post and stationery supplies.

You will need excellent time management and problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and preferably knowledge and understanding of University processes. You will share an office with other Group Services staff, and may be expected to work across schools in the Faculty, if the need arises. There is an emphasis on teamwork and flexibility to accomplish tasks and provide a high level of service.

Proficiency with University systems such as Canvas and Student Services Online will be an advantage.
