Integrated Safeguarding Board Manager - Adults and Childrens Board

You will be responsible for managing and developing members of the staff team, co-ordinate the functions of the Safeguarding Children Board and Safeguarding Adults Board to support the Council's statutory obligations and ensure the protection of children and vulnerable adults.

Key Responsiblities:

• Manage safeguarding risk and quality assurance effectively through the development and review of multi-agency policies which take account of legislation, national guidance, and learning from national and local research/review processes.
• Provide specialist advice and guidance around statutory requirements and compliance with legislation, guiding boards safely and effectively through transition in safeguarding arrangements following any major reviews of child protection.
• Managing the budgets of Safeguarding Children Board and Safeguarding Adults Boards
• Promoting the engagement with Safeguarding Children Board and Safeguarding Adults Board of relevant agencies and organisations
• Further develop and embed quality assurance mechanisms and associated learning to contribute to development of best practice

We require an experienced Safeguarding Board Manager who can commit for 6 months.
