UQ Human Resources is responsible for enabling achievement of the University’s strategic ambitions. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Human Resources Officer, leads the people strategy agenda for the University and develops and maintains a culture of continuous improvement. The Chief Human Resources Officer is accountable for all elements of HR planning and delivery, including policy, systems, capability, and reporting. To be successful in this role, you will require significant experience in leading a Human Resources function in a large and complex organisation. Your proven track record of leading transformational change should be coupled with your ability to effectively influence across an organisation. An in-depth understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements and a demonstrated ability to proactively manage risk will be important. Your highly developed analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and outstanding interpersonal and communication capabilities, are essential.
