Location: Bristol, UK

Funded by the Wellcome Trust the holder of this post will carry out interdisciplinary research investigating neural and circuit mechanisms of associative recognition memory in rodents. The successful candidate will perform experiments combining in vivo electrophysiology, pharmacology, behaviour and opto/chemogenetics to examine neural mechanisms during associative recognition.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD (awarded or imminent) in neuroscience or a related discipline. Experience of in vivo whole cell electrophysiology, behavioural experiments and optogenetic methods would be preferable.
