Technical Manager - Biocides

A growing brand with major production facilities now being built to service it's product range, our client is a privately owned but profitable organisation to work for. Within it's horticulture brand that produces garden care products such as weed killers, they seek A Technical Adviser to play a crucial role interacting with it's suppliers answering technical questions. Whilst our client is not a large multi-national, they offer a chance to mould a position around you and develop with one to one interaction with senior and highly experienced staff. They offer a vibrant working community with a hands on approach.

As a Technical Adviser you will be involved with new product development for biocides, Plant protection products, fertilizers and grass seeds.

Your key responsibility will be to handle technical questions from end users with questions for all products and supporting formulation. This includes providing that support on site.

This is a hands on technical position with a large part of administrative and coordination work to be done.

Note this position involves no formulation

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Educated to degree level within science - ideally Chemistry. Environmental related degrees will be accepted. Experience over education

Knowledge of biocides or plant protection or fertilizer / horticulture. New product development and formulation experience of the above will be key for this position.

1 year + experience desirable.
