As R&D Team Leader you will be heading up an R&D group of of 5 people (Lacklaborant & Lacktechniker developers) in a laboratory focused around developing the next generation of waterborne and UV coatings systems for the Automotive market. Joining an SME coatings company who have established themselves as the market leader for waterborne and UV technologies you will have the chance to work with technologies which are way ahead of the competition meaning you will have knowledge of the best systems on the market.

The company you will be joining manufacture, develop and distribute their own-brand of Paints & Coatings systems. As one of the first companies to enter the plastics coatings field in the 1960s they have established an excellent reputation for innovation and a good brand reputation in this field, so it's a company which will allow you to build your employment profile and make yourself a highly desirable and sought-after candidate in the industry in the long-term.

Whilst the company are still relatively small in-size in terms of employees they have a global presence in the market through their distribution partners and supply to companies in over 40 countries worldwide, so you will actually get the chance to work with partners in North America, the Middle-East, North Africa and East Asia which provides the opportunity for you to build an international network and improve your level of business English.

Requirements:

• Qualification as Lacklaborant, Lacktechniker or Lackingenieur
• 5+ years experience in Research & Development with practical knowledge of formulating waterborne or UV coatings systems
• Previous experience as Team Leader preferred but proven project leadership experience also acceptable
• Languages: German at B2-C2 level required for daily use
