Senior Assistant Officer (post level 12)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform general office administration.
  • Responsible for data management of Short Learning Programmes (SLP) and compile reports.
  • Liaise with staff, students and stakeholders.
  • Handle general enquiries.
  • Responsible for meeting administration.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, venues and cash advances.
  • Provide reception services.
  • Assist with project management of SLPs.
  • Assist the Head of SLP with any other reasonable tasks.
  •  

    Inherent requirements:

  • Grade 12.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ relevant experience.
  •  

    Required competencies:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent ICT skills.
  • Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Accurate and meticulous.
  •  

    Recommendations:

  • Post-school qualification
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of and operational experience in People Soft HR/ Finance/ Campus Solutions.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with a learning management system.
  • Experience in meeting administration.
  •  

    Assumption of duties:
    As soon as possible.
