Job Details
You will be a post-doctoral researcher with molecular biology and virology experience and will work on a translational research project to genetically modify lymphocytes for optimised cancer immunotherapy.
You will work both independently and as part of a larger team of researchers, within a project funded by the MRC Confidence in Concept Scheme at the University of Leeds, led by Professor Graham Cook (School of Medicine) and Professor Eric Blair (School of Molecular and Cellular Biology). The project is based in laboratories on the St. James’s University Hospital campus and on the main University campus. Working closely and interactively within a collaborative project team you will need excellent communication skills.
