Job Details

Do you have the ability to motivate and inspire learners? Do you have a clear commitment to creating and delivering an excellent student experience? Are you an experienced teacher with a master’s degree and significant experience in the area of educational policy, leadership and management?

You will contribute to the teaching and development of the MA programme in International Educational Leadership and Policy (IELP). The programme is an updated version of the successful long-running MA in International Educational Management (IEM).

You will contribute to the teaching and development of the two core modules on the MA (IELP) programme: EDUC 5042M on Contemporary Global Challenges in Education Policy and Leadership (offered in semester 1) and EDUC 5043M, Critical Perspectives on Leadership Theory and Practice (offered in semester 2). Assistance will also be required in the supervision of MA (IELP) dissertations in accordance with your skills, knowledge and experience.

The programme attracts experienced educationalists from across the world and therefore emphasises an international and comparative perspective, focusing on key international and global challenges in education and the implications for effective educational policy making and organisational leadership.

You will have a masters degree in a relevant subject area (this includes work submitted for assessment, but not yet examined) and experience of contributing to the effective delivery of relevant and appropriate teaching at MA level.
