Responsible for lobbying state legislative and executive branches of government on issues that affect the marketing and sales of pharmaceutical products and vaccines, and key corporate policy interests in the states of Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Additionally, will assist in the development and implementation of strategies designed to secure coverage of products within state-funded health programs, including Medicaid and AIDS Drug Assistance Programs.

The position will be based in one of the four states of responsibility.

Qualifications

Education:

- BA/BS Degree

Required:

- Proven ability to build relationships with high-level executives in the healthcare field and/or in state government.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in leading teams on state government policy issues.

Preferred:

- Experience in state government affairs, preferably as a registered lobbyist representing a pharmaceutical or other healthcare organization.
- Specific experience with State Legislative, Regulatory and/or Budgetary processes.
