R&D Team Leader, Industrial Coatings Systems, Basel

As Development Team Leader you will have the opportunity to manage projects in technology and product development whilst maintaining a hands-on role in formulations development which will include leading a laboratory of 3 developers, allowing you to really broaden your technical expertise in coatings development whilst gaining further management experience.

You will be joining a mid-sized Paints & Coatings company based in the Basel area of Switzerland that develop and manufacture a full range of coatings including solvent-based, water-based, UV curable, powder and high solid systems. The company offer a high degree of flexibility in your day-to-day work whilst also providing extensive training which will take the form of one-to-one development with your manager, giving you the chance to grow and further develop in all areas of your professional life.

As part of a team of 23 people across the Laboratory, you will be a key member of a growing R&D team who have a close-knit environment with very good lines of communication and a family feel, giving you the feeling of being a valued member of the company so that you look forward to going to work every day.

Requirements:

• Qualifications as Lacklaborant or Lacktechniker
• 6+ years experience in Research & Development
• Hands-on experience in formulations development of waterborne coating systems
• Languages: German at B2-C2 level required for daily use; comfort in English speaking preferred
