Are you passionate about delivering innovative, effective and inspiring teaching for an exceptional student experience? Do you have current NMC registration and experience of teaching students and / or professional groups in nursing or healthcare?

The School of Healthcare invites applications for a Tutor in Nursing to contribute to their teaching portfolio; working primarily with undergraduate adult, child and mental health nurses delivering high quality education for the pre-registration BSc (Hons) in Nursing.

You will have the opportunity to teach a range of subjects, which will focus upon teaching clinical skills and the theoretical and practical elements of the fundamentals of nursing practice.  You will also be involved in the post-graduate module on Independent and Supplementary Prescribing for Nurses and Midwives within the MSc in Advanced Practice programme.

You will have a Master’s degree in Nursing (or another related discipline) with current NMC registration and some post qualifying clinical experience.  You will also have completed an NMC approved Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification (showing on the NMC register).  Experience of teaching students and / or professional groups (providing formal or informal teaching) in nursing or healthcare is essential.

The post is available immediately and will be based in the School of Healthcare (Baines Wing).
