We are seeking a scientist to join our Vaccine Analytical Development team located in West Point, PA as a Scientist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a team applying state of the art separation methods to facilitate vaccine development. The responsibilities include accurately performing existing UPLC, HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blot methods, troubleshooting technical issues under supervision, maintaining accurate records, and timely communicating results to customers. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively in the multidisciplinary team environment and provide technical input to enable team decisions.

Qualifications

Education:

- A Bachelor's Degree Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a closely-related field.

Required:

- Experience with different types of UPLC/HPLC separations (SEC, IEX, HIC, RP, HILIC).

- Knowledge of GMP requirement and experience working in a regulated laboratory environment.

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

- Familiar with ICH guideline of analytical procedure validation.

Preferred:

- Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects.

- Capable of performing assay qualification and robustness evaluation with minimum supervision.

- Experience with lab automation.
