Fantastic opportunity for a senior chemist in the field of Industrial Coatings to work with cutting-edge UV coating technologies. You will be responsible for new technology development and product innovation as part of the company's 5 man UV-Specialist R&D team at their centre of coatings excellence which is a cradle of innovation for the business worldwide.

You will be joining a business that have recently gone from strength-to-strength having recently finished building a new R&D and Production facility at their site in Hannover which is made up of brand-new analytical, applications and formulations development equipment, so you will be working in an environment that will massively benefit your day-to-day research & development work.

Role Responsibilities:

• Formulations development of UV coating systems
• Industrial research, market analysis and creation of technology-roadmaps
• Raw materials testing, analysis and selection
• Applications testing in the laboratory and on the production-line
• Collaboration with Laboratory Management and R&D Team Members on R&D projects

Requirements:

• Qualification as Lackingenieur
• Experience in formulations development of UV Coatings Systems
• Strong personal drive for innovation and new technology development
• B2 level German required for day-to-day use in the laboratory. Conversational English preferred.
