This is an opportunity for someone with a degree background in Polymer Chemistry to step into the plastics industry with a company that develop and manufacture masterbatches for plastics compounding & extrusion. The managing director is looking for someone motivated to learn & develop skills because he will give direct training to the person that joins the company, so you will get hands-on training & development as soon as you join the company.

You will be joining an SME that currently has 10 employees which means that everybody in the company is involved in the all activities of the company from Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Technical Customer Service, so you will learn about the whole business life-cycle from product development to launch, meaning you'll be a highly rounded professional with excellent technical & commercial skills.

The company are highly-customer focused and aim to provide quick-turnaround solutions and high-quality products to the market, so they have a reputation for providing excellent products & value-driven solutions. Joining as the 11th person in the company, you will quickly get to grips with how to satisfy customers and get an understanding as to what it means to provide high-quality customer oriented solutions, giving you an excellent knowledge platform to grow and progress in the future in a technical or commercial function.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry
• Experience with plastic compounds or masterbatches
• Initial knowledge of colour-matching systems (Colibri or DATA-Colour) preferred but not essential
• B2 level German required for day-to-day use
