The role
The successful appointee will perform top quality high impact research in neural stem cell and niche ageing; engineer novel in vitro and in vivo ageing models; and design novel regenerative medicine solutions to combat ageing-related decline in function and productivity and increase health span.
The person
Applicants must have a PhD and experience in either Neurobiology, Stem cell biology (pluripotent, iPSC, tissue resident), cutting-edge molecular biology techniques, CRISPR genome engineering, In vitro organoid generation and interrogation, human models of ageing.
An ability to establish effective relationships coupled with strong motivation, the ability to work independently, design/interpret experiments with excellent organisational skills will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience with high-end microscopy and imaging tools as well as single cell sequencing, acquisition and integration of multi-omics data sets; and high throughput and molecular profiling are desirable.

Remuneration
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at Academic level A. The remuneration package will be in the range $75,557 - $87,535 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $88,401 - $102,416 p.a.).
