Are you an academic with a background in Childhood Studies or a related discipline with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research? Do you have an excellent research record and proven success obtaining funding? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?

As Lecturer in Childhood Studies you will carry out research, teaching and management within the school, faculty and university and contribute to academic leadership in the field of Childhood Studies.

You will have a keen interest in teaching on our MA in Childhood Studies which is an exciting, market leading interdisciplinary degree offering students a wide range of different career opportunities to work with children, young people and families. You will also be involved in teaching on our BA Childhood Studies programme.

We are looking for someone with vision and research capability to join the Childhood and Youth Academic Group within the School of Education, a group with a strong UK and world-wide reputation. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a diverse and talented team with established strengths in teaching and research in a School of Education with an outstanding teaching and research environment.
