Software Expert- Innovative Cardiovascular -France - Relocators

I am currently recruiting a Software Engineer for our client, a French start-up working on a cutting edge cardiovascular device that will revolutionize the industry.

Working with a small and close-knit international team, you will become one of the pillars in charge of implementing the whole software development strategy from the early days of the company. You will see the company grow, develop, succeed and will play a very important part in their growth.

It is your time to join the company at a very key point in their history, when they are still going through Pre-Clinical phases and hiring the right people to ensure that their product reaches efficiently their targeted markets (the FDA as a priority) and can impact thousands of patients throughout the world. French is not mandatory as the whole team has been built with successful professionals from all over the world.

Your missions will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the whole development of the embedded software following the EN 62304 norm
• Taking care of unit, functional and integration testing
• Being the interface with the internal cross-functional team, patients and surgeons
• Implementing usability and ergonomic requirements for the embedded software
• Dealing with risk analysis and FMEA processes

The ideal profile will have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer within the Device Industry (ideally with Cardiovascular implants)
• Good Programming knowledge (C, Embedded Software, Matlab..)
• Electronic background
• Ability to work with a close-knit team
• Fluent English - French is an asset
