Pediatric Pulmonary Faculty Member

The Department of Pediatrics, University of California, Davis is seeking to recruit a full-time academic pediatric pulmonologist to join our Division of Pediatric Pulmonology. This position is open at the Assistant/Associate/Full rank (commensurate with credentials) in either the Clinical X or Health Science Clinical Series. The person in this position will join a thriving pulmonary practice which includes a cystic fibrosis center, a comprehensive sleep medicine program, a collaborative bronchoscopy service, as well as tracheotomy and ventilator programs. Responsibilities include patient care, medical student and resident education, and should have established excellence in clinical care and teaching. Minimum qualifications include a MD/DO degree, board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics, board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology, and eligibility for a California medical license.

With more than 120 physicians in 33 pediatric subspecialties, the Children's Hospital is a 118-bed hospital housed within the 619-bed University of California, Davis Medical Center. It is the only designated Children's Hospital in the Sacramento region, and is known for offering comprehensive, compassionate, family-centered care. UC Davis Children's Hospital is distinguished for its outstanding congenital heart program and its internationally recognized telemedicine programs. UC Davis Children's Hospital houses a 49-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a 24-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit/Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. In addition, there is a new, comprehensive sleep center and new Children’s Surgery Center for procedures.
