I am currently recruiting for a leading life science company who have been around over a century. They are currently going through huge expansion and are developing the procurement team. For their site in Berlin they are looking for an experienced Purchaser to join the team. This position is great for a young professional who wants to join a leading company who offer a international environment and a chance to develop within the business. You will also be responsible for a small team of junior buyer, who recently just joined the company. This position is great for someone who is looking for a step up into management and develop a brand new team.

You will be responsible for all:

• Sourcing of new suppliers
• Developing and maintaining existing supplier
• Team management & coaching
• Increasing international relationships
• Mapping new customers & suppliers in the life science market

To be successful candidate must have:

• 3+ years experience working as Purchaser
• Chemical or life science background
• Experience working in a international
• Developing junior employees/ or team lead responsibilities
• Fluent in German & English
