Challenging teaching and research opportunities currently exist for established subject specialists in the following Accountancy-related subjects in the B-Accounting programme: Management Accounting, Financial Accounting and Auditing (which includes Information Systems and Business Ethics).

 

  • An appropriate Honours degree in Accounting;
  • Chartered Accountant (SA);
  • Meeting the criteria for academic excellence;
  • A commitment to research and social impact/community involvement;
  • The ability to lecture in Afrikaans and English, handle departmental administration and work in a team;
  • All newly appointed staff may be expected to be involved for a limited period in SAICA's Thuthuka-project and the lecturing of Information Systems.
