Purpose:
To support the Senior Manager: Finance Operations with the effective management, control and reporting on all activities within the Student Fees and its staff. To produce accurate & timeous financial reports, prepared on the basis of generally accepted accounting practice and according to financial reporting formats and timeframes. To manage student payment plans and to ensure total outstanding debt owed to Rhodes University is reduced as per University guidelines.
Requirements:
A relevant B Degree (with Accounting as a major being preferable) plus 6 years’ relevant experience where such experience includes: -
The incumbent should have at least 3 years hands on experience in a financial accounting environment
The incumbent should also have at least 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level.

Total annual package: Approximately R494 331
