Director - Remediation Contractor - Cambridgeshire, Berkshire or Yorkshire

Brief description:

* Reporting to founding company MDs and sitting on management board with sister company Directors, the Director will have responsibility for day to day operations of all company activities. They operate a relaxed environment and the incoming Director will have relative freedom to operate in a way that they feel best enables delivery of projects.

* My client operates from a office based in cambridgeshire and has two smaller active offices in the south west and North. Within six months there will be an active office in Reading. My client employs approximately 30 staff which will targetted to double in the next 24 months.

* My client is running approximately 50-60 live projects at any one time ranging from £2k to £2m with most falling between £40-80k. They have traditionally focussed on the insurance market but over the last two years have worked on a number of commercial projects and aim for increased share in future.

The Director will be responsible for:
o ensuring project delivery and that operations regionally are consistent and scaleable;
o implementing company policy and any changes to it;
o assisting with company strategy;
o to a lesser extent at first they will be responsible for representing the company in public at events or with the press;
o working alongside management team to identify operational performance measures and will require an understanding of finance related issues in order to analyse company performance.

The role is not reliant on BD and is not a KPI, the company needs to operate efficiently and effectively and this will itself grow the company. However any BD opportunities will be supported.

Salary expectation between £80k and £120k + plus benefits package
