This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant team researching an important illness. You will be organised, enthusiastic and experienced in trial management. The primary role of the post–holder will be to manage a large trial (MAGENTA), which is investigating two treatments for paediatric CFS/ME; Activity Management and Graded Exercise Therapy. 

The post-holder will need project management skills and experience in running clinical trials, they will also be responsible for: co-ordinating recruitment; organising follow-up; supporting qualitative work; focusing on academic paper writing, including reporting on the trial findings. The post holder will also work closely with the clinical teams, the statisticians, qualitative researchers and other members of the Trial Management Group.

The post holder will join a research group led by Prof Crawley based in the Centre of Child and Adolescent Health within the School of Social and Community Medicine. Ideally the post will start October 2017.
