Job Details

My client is a growing biotech CMO, which is planning to expand on its European client base and go global within the next 5 years. They therefore need a Business Development Manager to help expand and maintain their large European network. In this role, you get the opportunity to speak with experts within the Biotech field and expand your own as well your company's network.

Your main responsibilities would include presenting the services offered by the CMO to industry stakeholders and attract potential new clients. Further, you will be taking part in international conferences, prepare client proposals and negotiate contracts. You will also be staying up to date with current and future market trends to spot potential growth opportunities.

Due to the interaction with major players in the biotech market, it is essential to have some background within this field so that you can speak about it with ease. Further, previous experience within Business Development, Sales or Marketing is necessary. An excellent level of English would also be pertinent, as well as the ability to travel.

The office is located in Spain, but the role itself is homebased, so there are no restrictions on location, as long as you are willing and able to travel throughout Europe when necessary. However, if you would prefer being office based, such arrangements can also be made.
