An innovative medical device company based near Heidelberg are currently searching for a R&D Project Manager to join them on the innovation of a new technology. The company have sites based all around the world leading to great opportunities to develop your skills and also your career.

As a R&D Project Manager you will be responsible for:

* Managing complex R&D projects with a team of highly qualified researchers and developers.

* Driving innovation, play a critical role throughout the whole development cycle - from development to launch ( Understand customer needs; drive VOC (Voice of the Customer) together with product managers; prepare product proposals and business cases and lead gate-review meetings.

* Lead projects from concept to delivery. Ensure alignment across different R&D functions, across departments (R&D, Marketing, Operations).and with the senior leadership team
Play a key role in (transactional) process improvements.

* Manage international divisions in cross-functional teams - US, Asia and Germany

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

* Several years of experience in project management of medical technology (proven track record)

* GMP experience

* ISO 13485

* Strong interest in project management and process improvement

* Proven track record in managing new product development projects from concept phase through industrialization and production

* Good German or willingness to learn
