Postdoctoral position at the Evolutionary and functional genomics lab

The Evolutionary and Functional Genomics Lab led by Josefa González is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our research team at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE, CSIC-UPF), which is part of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRRB). The postdoctoral researcher will work on a project funded by a European Research Council Consolidator Grant that aims at identifying the genetic basis, the molecular mechanisms, and the functional traits relevant for environmental adaptation.

The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for the functional characterization of the candidate adaptive mutations identified in Drosophila melanogaster.
We offer a full-time position for 2 years with the possibility of extension. Salary will depend on the experience of the candidate.
