Programme of Innovation in Artform Development (PIAD) Co-ordinator (post level 12) (Contract appointment: 2 years and 2 months)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate all activities of the programme and run multiple projects concurrently.
  • Perform the day-to-day administration duties, for example, budgets, payments, bookings, drafting documents and other related duties.
  • Work closely with national and international artists, diverse communities and stakeholders.
  • Report to programme directors and stakeholders.
  • Source additional funds and write proposals.
  • Evaluate, record and catalogue projects.
  • Deal with marketing and education with regard to projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive research towards developing projects
  •  

    Inherent requirements:

    • Grade 12.
    • One (1) to two (2) years relevant experience in the co-ordination and administration of projects (preferably in the Arts).
    • A valid driver’s license.

     

    Required competencies:

    • Bachelor’s degree/diploma or equivalent (preferably in the Arts).
    • Strong project management, co-ordination and organisational skills.
    • A keen interest in and knowledge of contemporary arts.
    • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
    • Time management skills, adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
    • Good communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
