CAMHS Practitioners

I am currently working with a CAMHS service based in London which is in need of an experienced CAMHS Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist service which work with young people who present with a broad range of complex emotional and behavioural disabilities.

You will be based within a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Doctors, Psychologists, Nurses and a range of allied health professionals. Cases will be complex with Mental Health being the key element, although some cases will include service users with other co-morbidities.

The role offers a greater degree of autonomy and you will be managing your own caseload which will involve providing high quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and interventions.

To be considered for this post you should have an appropriate core qualification e.g. Registered Nursing (RMN/RSCN/RNMH), Social Work (CQSW/DipSW), Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology or other relevant qualification: e.g CYP-IAPT qualification). You should also have experience of working in a CAMHS setting and extensive Mental Health experience.
