Raw Material Sourcing - Global Leader - FR/GER/EN Required !

I am currently working with a growing global leader who have a strong presence in the food, agro-chemical and ingredients market. Due to development of the company, they are currently looking to expand the procurement department. The position I am currently recruiting for is for an Agri-Business Manager based in the North of Germany. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and specialist professional who wants to join an organization that rewards each of their employees based on their hard work and dedication.

You will be responsible for all sourcing and negotiation for the agri-business function. Specialty corn being one of its key ingredients, your job will be crucial in the development of the business and the responsibilities as well. You will be working closely with the head of procurement as well as other people affiliated with the business internally and externally, your days will be rich and varied. You will be in charge of the sourcing of specialty corn which is the company's main ingredient, meaning that the work that you will put in will impact the European teams directly. The Head of Procurement is currently looking for someone who can be hands on and help develop the procurement department and working on a number of projects to broaden the view of the department in a cost effective manner. Responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing and optimising suppliers: corn market, traders, coops & farmers
• Risk Management
• Business development - market analysis
• Logistics - dealing with air, sea and road fright)

To be successful candidate must have:

• 3+ years sourcing/ trading experience
• Fluent in German and English and French - all of them at fluent level
• Logistics experience - air, road and sea fright
• Bachelor in Agro-chemical/ economics or similar
• Risk management and quality
