Postdoctoral Researcher in Heterogeneous Catalysis at ICIQ, Spain (Dr. Urakawa's group)

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher. This position will be funded by ICIQ.
 
ICIQ is committed to performing excellent research at the frontier of knowledge in the broad area of chemistry (Catalysis, Artificial Photosynthesis, Activation of Small Molecules, Photovoltaics, Functional Molecular Assemblies and Chemical Biology, from either theoretical or experimental perspectives). ICIQ is looking for a motivated researcher with great interest in heterogeneous catalysis and the rational design of catalyst materials and catalytic processes from material synthesis, characterization and reaction engineering perspectives. The researcher is expected to be involved in multiple projects, mainly focusing on CO2 conversion catalysis and in situ/operando spectroscopy of catalytic materials and interfaces.
 
 
Responsibilities

•  Synthesis and ex situ and in situ/operando characterisation of catalyst materials
• Design and improvement of catalytic reactors for CO2 conversion
• Collaboration with and guidance of Master/PhD student(s)
