Research Support Assistant

As a Research Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing flexible and high quality administrative and database support to research projects being undertaken by the Nutritional Epidemiology Group in the School of Food Science and Nutrition. In particular, you will support the maintenance and upgrade of a web-based resource to contain a range of online dietary assessment tools.

Your role will include liaison with partners, planning and managing tasks allocated within the project, collection and presentation of data, and promoting the research to external users. You will also provide administrative support as Personal Assistant to the Chair of Nutritional Epidemiology.

You will be enthusiastic and proactive, with experience of working in a research environment. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. In addition, you will have the drive to deliver an exceptional administrative service to the research projects.
