Job Details
The NUW Alliance is seeking an inaugural Director, whose leadership will be key to ensure the success and further development of the Alliance. The Director will have a proven track record of senior management and leadership experience, including demonstrable delivery of major change initiatives and high-level skills in project management with Executive Board level experience, ideally within an academic and/or innovation environment. The role will encompass the ability to link outstanding research, education and innovation across the three universities in areas that will benefit NSW, as well as the collective. The Director will also demonstrate experience in developing and implementing commercial opportunities.
The Director reports to the NUW Alliance Board and is expected to bring an inclusive and flexible approach to working across the Alliance. S/he will have a real flair for and bring a track record of achievement in influencing to build partnerships and working across sectors where boundaries have become increasingly porous. They should possess the personal authority to hold credibility with academics, the community, industry and national policy makers.
