PeopleSoft Environments Specialist

The Technology Services branch is a part of the Division of University Operations, which provides technology capabilities to support the University’s teaching and research objectives and business activities. The branch services the vast University community through four core services: Application Services, Client Services, Infrastructure Services, and a Project Management Office.

We are currently looking for a motivated and highly skilled professional who wants to contribute to major technological advancements in a changing global higher education environment. 

The PeopleSoft Environments Specialist is part of the Enterprise Systems team responsible for supporting, managing and maintaining the PeopleSoft Applications (Campus, Finance and HCM) and other related business applications used by the University.

We are looking for a degree qualified technical specialist who wants to work with an experienced and highly skilled team to support and transform the technology behind the University's core business.

Salary:

(HEO8) $93,493 – $105,179 per annum.

Superannuation:

An employer contribution of up to 17% may apply.

Term of position:

This fixed-term contract is available immediately until the end of 2018.

Position requirements

To be successful you should have:

• Demonstrated experience with installing, configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft enterprise applications.
• Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning PeopleSoft enterprise applications.
• Experience with PeopleSoft application development highly regarded
• Experience working effectively in large organisations, such as a University, supporting complex applications
• Experience working as part of a team delivering high quality services.
• Experience with any of the following; Linux operating systems, WebLogic, Ansible or Puppet or other automation tools for DevOps and JIRA (desirable).
