Scientist looking to step up

Our client is a pharmaceutical company based in Brussels which has built track record of success in supplying pharmaceutical and biotech companies. They are looking for a scientist who wants to develop into a Chemical project and grow into the pharmaceutical industry. They offer an amazing opportunity to develop in a leadership role.

Qualifications and competences required

• Master degree in chemistry or chemistry-related discipline (or equivalent by experience)
• Language requirements: English (written and spoken), French
• Some experience in HPLC preparative
• Broad and in-depth knowledge of industrial purification techniques
• Ability to work in team

Tasks:

• Perform (or supervise) experiments and interpret analytical data in the frame of the development of industrial processes for the purification of peptides
• Feasibility studies
• Process development/optimization
• Studies supporting validation
• Preparing and participating to the scale-up of developed processes
• Determination of critical process parameters and assessment of process robustness
• Follow-up of running productions
• Integrating cGMP requirements in developed processes
