Associate Professor - Nursing

The role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide senior academic leadership in teaching and research in nursing and enhance the student experience and profile of the School. The incumbent will undertake a rotational senior leadership role within the School (such as Chair of Teaching and Learning) that will ensure the continual improvement of curriculum and teaching in the School’s academic programs. The position will require an individual who can demonstrate their achievements in a related field of research.

The person

Applicants should possess a PhD in nursing or a related discipline and have demonstrated teaching and tresearch leadership at a high level in an academic setting.  You should also have a demonstratred capacity to contribute to program improvement and an established track record of attracting reseach grants and publishing in high quality outlets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Remuneration

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at Academic level D. The remuneration package will be in the range $135,909 - $149,731 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $159,014 - $175,185 p.a.).
