Job Details
We are looking for an outstanding academic of high potential who is able to demonstrate a growing track record in research, student education and academic leadership. You will join us as a Lecturer in the area of cell biology/immunology with a focus on one or more of the following areas of regenerative medicine: the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, spinal or nervous system.
You will deliver world class research and inspirational teaching and supervision in a top School in a research intensive UK University. As a Lecturer, you will have well developed strategies for research and innovation, which cross the boundaries between biomedical science, engineering and the physical sciences and medicine. You will have a clear view of how your research will be translated to achieve societal/ healthcare and/or economic impact within an achievable timeframe. You will be expected to have established interactions with industry/ and or healthcare providers.
With a vision and drive to develop a prestigious internationally competitive research portfolio as well as a passion for undertaking research-led teaching you will make a significant impact on the performance, stature and profile of research and student education at the University of Leeds.
