Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching and research in integrative membrane biology and related topics? Do you have an excellent research record and proven success obtaining funding? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?

We are looking for an an outstanding academic of high potential who is able to demonstrate a growing track record in research, student education and academic leadership. You will join us as a Lecturer in the study of integral membrane proteins and their complexes at the molecular level, taking advantage of the state of the art equipment in the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology. We are particularly interested in scientists who can bring in new techniques, and in those interested in large and/or eukaryotic complexes of membrane proteins and their effectors

You will deliver world class research and inspirational teaching and supervision in a top School in a research intensive UK University. As a Lecturer, you will have well developed strategies for research and innovation, which cross the boundaries between biomedical science, the physical sciences and medicine. You will adopt multidisciplinary approaches in your research, and be expected to have established or trying to establish interactions with industry/ and or healthcare providers.
