Medical Statistician / Data Manager

Bristol Clinical Trials and Evaluation Unit (CTEU) is a UKCRC registered unit seeking a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate (Medical Statistician/Data Manager) to join our thriving team of over 40 staff, including 7 statisticians. Bristol CTEU undertakes studies in cardiac surgery, cardiovascular medicine, identification and management of hospital-acquired infections, obesity surgery and ophthalmology.

 

The successful applicant will provide statistical support and input into the validation, analysis, reporting and publication of data collected for randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and observational studies, and contribute to the design and set up of future studies. Candidates should have a background in statistics or another relevant discipline, be familiar with either Stata or SAS software, have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and have good communication skills.
