Marketing and Sales leader looking to grow into a P&L role? Looking for business management in the near future? NonStop are recruiting for an unusual role developing a new Business Unit for a Rare Disease specialty pharma - tasked with finding the ideal profile to grow a team of Marketing and Sales professionals across Germany.
Working with new launches for Neurology and Dermatology in the Rare Disease segment, this is a role where experience discovering markets and developing a commercial presence will be invaluable. Given the continuing need for specialists with a background in Rare Diseases, this is a critical chance to prove yourself in the sector and develop your profile for future senior roles as well.
The client:
With backing from a global player and an established presence in DACH and internationally, our clients pride themselves on a flat internal structure and a still-informal, familiar working environment. With a German office near the HQ in Switzerland, regular contact with other senior leaders in the business is a given and offers you access to world-leading expertise in the segment.
Key Requirements:
* Proven background in Marketing and Sales, to help in particular with Product Management strategy.
* Extensive senior leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* Understanding of the hospital and specialty care market in Germany
* (Ideally) knowledge of the Rare Disease market and working methods
* Fluent English and German
The role:
Manage a small team (6-8) covering Sales and Marketing functions across Germany. With your own background in the industry you will offer invaluable insight into how to approach the German market, implement pricing strategies and make best use of the firm's advantages against the competition.
As a BU Head joining a firm previously specialised only in one indication, this is a real chance for you to prove yourself as an independent business leader. With good results in these launches, future perspective within the parent organisation as well as internally looks excellent, as well as the increased options elsewhere in the industry.
